Before creating your first location, you must set up your Corporation settings which will be helpful when it comes to empowering your workforce.
The best companies know that employees who are excited to come to work perform the best and are less likely to turnover in the long run, which is why Forge gives you the tools to empower your employees to select, swap and clock in/out for the shifts they work each week.
However, we recognize the importance of a system that ensures there are checks and balances on these actions. Your Corporation settings will allow you to control your:
- "Drop Window" - How far in advance employees can drop shifts (relinquishing them from the responsibility of working & automatically sending out a notification to other employees to work that shift).
- "Clock In Window" - How far in advance employees can clock-in for shifts through their mobile device if they are within your business's geo-fenced location, as verified by the GPS tracker on their mobile phone.
- "Start of Week" - What day of the week you start a week on for calculation of payroll hours.
- "Hour Limits" - How many hours employees are allow to work each day/week/month (giving you the tool to ensure employees do not select shifts bumping themselves into overtime, etc.).
