For anyone who has built a schedule, you know that scheduling is often one of the most time-consuming activities of the week. You have to keep track of how many hours each employee is scheduled for (to ensure you're not booking too many overtime hours), keep track of your budget (to ensure you're not spending too much on labor), and keep track of employee's shift preferences.
Forge has built some easy tools to help you with each and every one of these.
Visual Tools for Hour Limits
Forge displays how many hours are filled by employees and how many hours (total) are on your schedule for the week.
Forge also displays how many hours each employee is working this week on your schedule, and how close they are to their hour limits.
Visual Tools for Budgeting
Forge displays how much you're committed to spending and how much you're expected to spend this week based on your labor schedule.
Visual Tools for Ensuring All Shifts Are Filled
If you look at your schedule and see any Red Icons in the top right corner of shifts, you still have shifts that need to be filled. If you're schedule is all green, you're good to go!
Forge works best when you give employees the autonomy to select their own shifts through the mobile app. Forge ensures that employees are unable to book shifts over their allotted hour limits to make your job easier!
